Who we are
World Art Initiative (“WAI”) provides institutional art curation and production services.
We act as a data controller for business contact data we collect and as a data processor when handling Client-provided content for production.
What we collect
• Business identity & contact: name, designation, organization, email, phone.
• Procurement details: RFQs/RFPs, specifications, POs, billing/shipping addresses, GST. Communications: emails, calls, meeting notes.
• Payment info: transaction references from gateways/banks (we do not store full card/UPI credentials).
• Website & analytics data: device, pages viewed, approximate location, cookies/SDK identifiers.
• Uploads: logos, imagery, and floor plans provided for curation/production.
How we use data
• To respond to enquiries, share quotes/specs, and fulfil contracts.
• To operate, secure, and improve our sites and services (legitimate interests).
• To send service communications (order status, dispatch, invoices).
• With your consent (where required), to send marketing updates (you can opt out anytime).
Legal bases
We rely on: contract performance, legitimate interests (B2B relationship management, security, analytics), consent (where applicable), and legal obligation (tax, accounting).
Sharing
We share data with vetted providers solely to run our business: hosting & IT, analytics, payment processors, logistics/transport partners, and professional advisors. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
If data is processed outside India, we use reasonable safeguards (contractual protections, reputable vendors, minimal data).
Retention
• Business records tied to transactions: generally 8 years (tax/accounting).
• Sales enquiries: typically 24 months from last contact.
• Production assets: retained as needed for warranty/reorders or as agreed.

• Opt out of marketing by using unsubscribe links or contacting us.
